The Assembly is a versatile musical group from Chautauqua, New York that effortlessly navigates a diverse blend of blues, funk, pop, bossa, and swing tunes spanning years of musical history. Their mission is to present standards and songbook charts of the past in modern language, to infuse music of today with some of that old magic, and to create new music in the spirit of it all. Together, The Assembly weaves a sound that resonates with audiences of all backgrounds.
Comprised of skilled and experienced musicians from picturesque Western New York, The Assembly’s live shows are a testament to their chemistry and passion. They perform as a full six-piece band, duo, or trio. The full band provides musical mastery and energy for large events, the duo Drew and Lena is a piano/vocal combo perfect for an intimate setting, and the trio Chagnon Minton Tiberio is a piano or trombone-lead group ideal for cocktail music.
